It is possible to obtain an additional 30-day extension at the immigration office. This is called a tourist visa extension. This gives you the possibility to stay 90 days (60+30) on Thai soil with a tourist visa + a visa extension. The application process costs 1,900 baht per person and can only be done once. If refused, visitors must leave the kingdom within seven days of the original expiration date of their stay. However, once obtained without a visa, the total length of stay in Thailand cannot exceed 90 days in six months.

What is a tourist visa extension?
A Thai tourist visa allows you to visit Thailand for 60 days. If you have a multiple-entry tourist visa, you can stay in the kingdom for several 60-day periods, depending on the number of entries on your visa. An additional 30 days may be granted to each tourist visa holder. This means that a tourist visa can allow you to stay in Thailand for a total of 90 days. In general, obtaining a visa extension is quite simple. You need to fill out the TM. Seven and submit it to a Thai immigration office. The cost of the extension is 1,900 Thai baht.
What are the documents needed to extend a 30-day visa?
When extending your tourist visa, it is essential to bring with you:
