Which visas can you obtain without leaving the country?

1. Retirement Visa and Marriage Visa

There is no direct application for these two categories of visas. But don’t worry, it won’t be a difficult process as long as you match the application’s unique financial conditions.

How to apply for a Marriage Visa in Thailand?

You just must be married to a Thai national. Otherwise, you must be 50 years old or older to obtain a Retirement Visa in Thailand.

The procedure is very simple. The first step is to submit an application for a non-immigrant visa. The non-immigrant visa should thereafter be converted to either a Marriage Visa or a Retirement Visa. These are the visa kinds that will allow you to stay in Thailand for a full year (renewable) without crossing the border or leaving the country.

2. Visa for Permanent Residency

To be eligible for this visa, you must have spent three consecutive years in Thailand with one-year visa extensions. If you have been married to a Thai for 5 years, you must earn 30,000 Baht each month. If you are single, your monthly salary should be at least 80,000 Baht. To qualify for a Permanent Resident Visa in Thailand, simply produce three years of personal tax bills demonstrating the above-mentioned income criteria.

3. Thailand Visa Elite

Thailand Elite Visa is a long-term visa available to Thailand Privilege Card holders. It is classified as a Tourist Visa (Privilege Entry Visa “PE”), which allows residency in Thailand as well as privileges for a term of 5, 10, or 20 years depending on the package chosen in return for a membership fee.

1. The Thai Elite Visa is a 5-year renewable multiple entrance visa with a 1-year extension each entry. The 5-year visa will be provided every 5 years for memberships valid for 10 or 20 years.

2. The Thai Elite visa holder can stay in Thailand indefinitely, unlike the other visa kinds, which require them to leave the country every 90 days. -On the 90-day reporting required by Thai Immigration, the Elite Visa holder will be represented by Thai Elite employees. Thai Elite Visa holders will have their immigration and passport control procedures accelerated when they arrive in Thailand.

What are the visas that you can obtain when leaving the territory?

1. Visa for Tourists

This is a 60-day Tourist Visa to Thailand that may be used for multiple or single entries and can be extended for an additional 30 days with a visa run. Well if you want to prolong longer than 30 days, you may change the visa to a Non-Immigrant Visa which would need you to go to the adjacent city or nation such as Penang and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

2. Visa for Non-Immigrants

This is typically a 90-day single-entry visa to Thailand. You can extend your stay, much as a tourist visa, by conducting a visa run to a border or adjacent city/country. It is feasible to obtain a work permit and create a bank account.

3. Non-Immigrant Visa for One Year

This visa is frequently a Multiple Entry Visa to Thailand valid for one year. You are permitted to stay for 90 days per entrance, which means that every 90 days, you must cross the border and get your visa stamped at the immigration office.

4. Visa for Business

This visa is created specifically for persons who desire to do legitimate business in Thailand. It is sometimes referred to as a Non-Immigrant Business Visa. You can receive a work permit and open a bank account, but you must still complete a visa run every 90 days.
